I all the time have web on the modem. Can join it from any system via wifi. However my community resolution is a bit bizarre. So let me let you know about it.
My principal modem have Four lan port and has an ip of 192.168.0.1. Dchp is on via 10 to 255.A second modem linked to principal. It’s in router mode. Its dhpc is on and serving ip from 150-250. Its ip is 10.0.0.1.A 3rd modem linked to principal. It’s in bridge mode. Dhpc off. Its ip is 192.168.0.3 (static)A surveillance gear is linked to principal. Its ip is 192.168.0.4 (static)A POS machine is linked to principal. The factor you used to scan barcodes. Its ip is 192.168.0.5 (static)There are 1 wi-fi extender for every modem (besides principal modem. So whole of two).First one’s ip is 192.168.0.6 (static). Dhcp is about to auto. I do not know what auto means however it’s working nice. I could set off however i do not assume that is the issue.Second one’s ip is 192.168.0.7 (static). Its dhcp can also be auto.
Second modem wants slightly bit explaining. Why it isn’t in bridge mode too, dhcp on and 192.168.0.2 (static)? I attempted however some modem use bridge phrase completely different than different i assume. When i set bridge mode (consumer bridge it’s known as), it connects to a wifi, and provides web to the lan port. Its wifi is off. So the one wi-fi extender that connects to it does not get any web. So that’s not it.
There may be additionally entry level possibility. This one take web from lan port and bridge to different lan ports in addition to letting me set my wifi. I believed, no matter. Whether it is known as entry level. So be it. However i all the time get ip confliction when i set it in entry level. I made certain its dhcp is off however it did not change something. I used to be accountable for each ip within the community however one thing making it battle. So that’s the reason though i do know it’s flawed, i selected router mode and my web is all good in each level besides my principal computer. At any time when i reset my computer, i lose web. I want to shut and open the modem to repair it. When it’s fastened, it isn’t creating any drawback. When i select router mode its defaul ip is 10.0.0.1. I did not contact it. When i examine from principal modem. It’s now 192.168.0.15. I assume each time i reset the modem, its ip will change too.
