Need to use twin NIC on PC and ship a ping from an exterior host to a particular NIC.

Setup:

NIC1 – 192.168.1.20/24 – on VLAN1

NIC2 – 172.16.1.20/24 – on VLAN2

Have to ship a message from a distinct host on VLAN2 to NIC1 on VLAN1.

Is that this potential utilizing a static route between NIC1 and NIC2 or would I’ve to configure the static route on the opposite host that’s making an attempt to ship the message?
